1. The Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee (CISC) Lieutenant General, J P Mathew on Sunday (24 December 2023) flagged off the JSW-NDA Car Rally from the National War Memorial in New Delhi. 5.  Two jawans of the Special Operations Group of the Odisha police were injured when an improvised explosive device planted by Maoists exploded in a forest in Odisha's Kandhamal district during a combing operation on Sunday. 

6.  Johnnette Technologies, one of the top Indian UAV manufacturers, has received an order to Supply their flagship tactical fixed-wing drone, Johnnette JF-2, to the Indian Army for border surveillance. 1.  India recorded their maiden victory against Australia in a women's test match at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday (24 December 2023) with their comprehensive eight-wicket win in the one-off contest.

India had taken control of the match with a commanding 187-run lead in the first innings. They needed just 75 runs to win the match after bowling Australia out for 261 in the second innings. India reached the target just after lunch losing two wickets.

2.  The Sports Ministry has suspended the just-elected Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) for multiple violations.

It Suspended WFI until further notice. This action comes in the wake of a controversial decision made by the newly-elected body regarding the organization of the U-15 and U-20 national trials.

*Abhimanyu* was the son of Arjuna and Subhadra. He was the nephew of Lord Sri Krishna and was married to Uttra, the princess of Matsya Naresh. Abhimanyu was killed on the 13th day of the Mahabharta war at Kuruchhetra.

Abhimanyu possessed incomparable courage, valor and fighting ability. He had even learnt to break Chakravihyu when he was in womb of Subhadra. He was killed on 13 days of war, because of his lack of knowledge of breaking ChakraViyihu.

Abhimanyu had two wife's, Vatsala or Sasirekha (daughter of Balarama) and Uttara.
